Life crisis?

Can you imagine that you are an archer? You are standind straight on your feet, keeping the arch in your hands, trying to stay aligned, aiming to shot. The more staying aligned you are, the more succesful shooting you do. There is only one “but”. It’s all up to the time your muscles are tired and you’re not constant anymore. You need to rest… Or change the activity to make other muscles work…

Just like in life. If you’re doing something for a long time, you can be tired, you can be even exhausted. Is it a life crisis or maybe the opportunity to make a life correction?

Sometimes you correct your life. Sometimes life corrects it for you.

Sometimes you close the door by yourself. Sometimes the door becomes closed for you. When one door closes, another opens. The only person who is on your way to go through it is you! Sometimes you have to let go of who you are to find out who you can become.

Albert Einstein said that in the middle of difficulty lays opportunity. And it means development.

Stay aligned

“Stay aligned” is the title of this website and the title of the first post. Why? Because I need to stay aligned myself before taking any action. Thank You, Mrs. Regina Brett, for the inspiration!

What does “stay aligned” mean? Well, archers say every shot starts with your feet. The way you are standing has to be right before you start shooting. Otherwise it will not be succesful. The best archers visualise each shot reaching the target before releasing an arrow. They need consistent alignment first, then action. The most advanced archers can shoot succesfully even while doing horseback riding! Practice helps to become a master!

It is true about life as well. If you are not staying aligned the smallest insult will crush you, the smallest failure will knock you off balance. If you are aligned, mentally focused and emotionally calm, nothing can rock you.

Stay aligned first, second take action.
